TLDR

In a September 28 post, a Tesla owner predicted an October 1 Roadster reveal and argued the car could redefine supercars. They expect its top Full Self-Driving speed to exceed the 80 mph they say their own Tesla reaches on Silicon Valley freeways.

Robert Scoble@ScobleizerThis week Tesla fans will go nuts when the Roadster gets revealed on Thursday. Tesla has a real shot to redefine super cars. The other $500,000+ car companies have all said “we aren’t doing autonomy.” Even most Tesla fans think the focus will be on how fun this will be to drive. Or how it will “fly” for a few seconds. At @A2RLeague I saw a robot do 200+ mph on Abu Dhabi’s race track so I know it is possible. What doing you believe the top FSD speed will be? Certainly will be more than the 80 mph that mine does on Silicon Valley freeways. Anytime I find an EV fan I put them on this list so you can follow along. https://x.com/i/lists/190179015623718136712d
