PrimeIntellect is extending its multi-agent training infrastructure to swarms

PrimeIntellect says messages cost tokens and lose information, while agents must coordinate to avoid duplicating work.

TLDR

PrimeIntellect said in August that its RL stack could express and train arbitrary agent interactions. In October, it said it was extending that infrastructure to swarms, with agents talking directly and context distributed across the group. The company says agents specialize over time, but coordination must be trained because messages cost tokens, lose information and can lead to duplicated work.

Prime Intellect@PrimeIntellectSwarms aren’t free. Messages cost tokens and lose information, and agents have to coordinate without duplicating work. This coordination has to be trained. This is why we’ve been building the infrastructure for training multi-agent systems, and are now extending it to swarms.3h
