Margaret Qualley and Sabrina Carpenter reportedly join Tom Holland’s Fred Astaire biopic

Deadline reports that Qualley and Carpenter have joined the untitled biopic starring Holland as Fred Astaire, nearly five years after he first revealed he would lead the project. The Hollywood Reporter says Qualley will play Adele Astaire, Fred’s older sister and Broadway partner, while Carpenter will play Ginger Rogers, his frequent film co-star. TheWrap reports that “Paddington” filmmaker Paul King is directing.
