Matthew McConaughey reportedly hugged an upset Jimmy Kimmel at an Emmys urinal

Variety reports that Jimmy Kimmel recalled retreating to the Emmys bathroom after getting choked up over the In Memoriam tribute’s inclusion of his friend Cleto Escobedo III. According to Kimmel, Matthew McConaughey noticed he was upset and gave him a warm hug while at the urinal. When Kimmel asked, “Is your penis out?” McConaughey answered yes and said he was “going to rub it up against you a little bit.” Kimmel said the exchange lightened the moment and that Escobedo would have loved it. Variety also quotes Woody Harrelson recalling the encounter and a subsequent group hug in the hallway.
