David not Goliath@David_Da_BossSo-called RE fans were hoping Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil movie would be a flop, instead it’s made $200 million worldwide and has a 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Resident Evil is shaping up to be the highest grossing movie of Zach Cregger’s career. Not that he needed the boost from RE’s name because his films have brought in a similar box office with similar budgets. Not only that, it’s been called the greatest video game movie ever made. Fake RE fans have been crying constantly about the movie because it doesn’t have enough fan service, even though it’s the most Resident Evil movie to ever Resident Evil. It not only adapts gameplay, it adapts the structure of an NPC note the main character would find. Turns out a large number of #Residentevil. fans simply haven’t played the games, so they wouldn’t know any of this. They just want key-jingling fan service, not good cinema. Fortunately, Cregger’s Resident Evil is the first movie in the franchise to succeed by being good, in spite of naysaying larpers.10d
