Paramount completes Warner Bros. Discovery takeover, forming Skydance

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Paramount completed its takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery on October 6, forming Skydance. It says David Ellison and co-CEO Ynon Kreiz face integrating the businesses and paying down more than $80 billion in debt. Variety reports that Skydance says it will merge Paramount+ and HBO Max into a single service over time.
