The official Star Wars: Galactic Racer account says the team is working on an update that will raise the game’s online party size from three players to six.

Featured Source

The statement came in reply to a player asking for larger multiplayer groups. The account said it had heard the feedback and aims to release the update within the first few weeks after launch, with more details still to come. It did not give a specific date.

Insider Gaming reports that the game launched on October 6, 2026. The larger party cap would let more friends enter multiplayer together, but it does not necessarily change the total number of racers in an event.

The announcement only covers party size. It does not confirm private lobbies or other multiplayer changes, so those remain separate requests rather than promised features.
