007 First Light's Switch 2 version slips to March 2027 as IO targets 30 fps

The Switch 2 edition of 007 First Light is now set for March 2027, a year after its original planned release. Technical producer Cristina Vega told Inven Global, in an interview reported by VGC, that IO Interactive chose another delay to improve the port and is targeting a stable 30 frames per second. She said the team is reducing less noticeable visual detail instead of removing enemies or changing gameplay. The PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC versions launched in May 2026; the Switch 2 performance target is not yet a measured result.
