Switch 2 updates: Dynasty Warriors 3 demo date and Fate/Extra Record cartridge formats

Nintendo Everything reports a September 24, 2026 Switch 2 demo for Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, followed by a planned January 2027 free update adding online two-player play. A fan account, citing Famitsu, says Stellar Blade’s Switch 2 demo is available and its free Bayonetta DLC is due November 5, 2026.

For physical releases, a preorder post says Fate/Extra Record’s PEGI edition is available to preorder, but the Switch 2 version will use a game-key card; only the ESRB version will have the game on the cartridge. A September 19 post says October 2026 was supposed to have 24 full-on-cart Switch 2 releases, but several games were being pushed into November, December and 2027.
