Electronic Arts has confirmed that Battlefield 6's Season 5 will include a limited-time Dead Space crossover called the Convergence Event. The publisher says the Halloween event begins with soldiers discovering a mysterious Marker beneath Area 51 as its influence starts spreading through the facility.
CharlieIntel reports that the crossover arrives October 20 with a new PvE mode inspired by Dead Space and unique cosmetics to unlock. EA has not detailed those mechanics in its roadmap and says more information will be revealed as the event approaches.
Season 5 itself begins October 13, bringing Vegas Strip and Area 51 at launch alongside the new Rapid Royale mode and four additional weapons.
