PlayStation Users Warn Account Ban Means Losing All Digital Games
PlayStation fans are logging off their consoles in protest, skipping the store and play sessions to push back against Sony's shift to all-digital games.
TLDR
Posts from @Kulturlesite_ and @DoesItPlay1 announce the #PSBlackout. Participants must skip PlayStation connections, play sessions, and PS Store purchases for at least seven days starting August 23, with calls to continue indefinitely. The stated goal is to oppose Sony's removal of physical games. Separate posts from @YourAnonOne and @ShadesFrance share a PlayStation email reminder on terms of service. The reminder states users receive only a license, not ownership, and lose access to all digital games if the account is suspended or closed.
