Witcher 3 Expansion Songs of the Past Shown at Gamescom

Eurogamer reported that Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 featured the first showing of a new Witcher 3 expansion titled Songs of the Past. Multiple posts from gaming accounts described a teaser video revealing chain combat and a new region called Letten. CD Projekt Red also announced a remaster of the base game provided free to existing owners. An interview with the Fool's Theory CEO noted that the expansion's story was written years ago.
