Valve plans to replace the curated calendar for Steam’s Discounts & Events section with dynamic, personalized recommendations in early 2027, though it has not set a firm launch date. Valve says its tests showed customers 10 times as many games per day in that section, alongside increases in store-page visits, wishlists and cart additions. It has paused new curated placements and says existing bookings will be honored.
