TLDR
Giants coach John Harbaugh said on September 23 that Jaxson Dart is out for the regular season but did not rule out a playoff return, reporter Dan Duggan reports.
Yahoo Sports, citing Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, reports that Dart is expected to undergo knee surgery after damaging his MCL, PCL and meniscus. His ACL is intact, and a full recovery is expected after surgery, the outlet says.
The Athletic reports that Dart left the opening drive against the Rams with an apparent knee injury. Tom Pelissero reports that Jameis Winston takes over as the Giants' starting quarterback.
