Jurgens arrives as Baltimore works through a shortage at center. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Tyler Linderbaum left for the Raiders in free agency, while Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic have since been injured.

The Ravens will have to wait before putting Jurgens on the field. Schefter said the 27-year-old is in concussion protocol and is not expected to debut Sunday. His anticipated first appearance is against Cleveland in two weeks. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport separately reported that Jurgens passed his physical.

Jurgens is a two-time Pro Bowler and, according to Schefter, remains under contract for four years. Schefter put his salary-cap figure at $1 million this season and $4 million next season.

Philadelphia adds another premium future pick. The Eagles now have two first-round selections and two second-round selections in 2028, including the Ravens’ new second-rounder.
