WNBA playoffs set first-round viewership record

The WNBA playoffs produced their most-watched first round, with 1.3 million viewers across ESPN, Prime Video and USA, Colin Salao reported. Yahoo Sports also described the round as the league’s most-viewed first round across all networks.

According to Salao, the figure was 37% higher than last year’s 944,000 across 11 games. It was also 17% above the previous record of 1.1 million across eight games in 2024. Just Women’s Sports also cited the 1.1 million 2024 benchmark.

Salao said Aces–Fever was the most-watched game of the round, drawing 2.3 million viewers.
