India’s budget smartphone market has a new entrant in the Lava Shark 2 Pro, which Digit compares with the Mivi One 5G and Vivo T5 Lite as brands compete for buyers looking for affordable 5G phones with big screens, large batteries and capable cameras.
Digit frames the three handsets as broadly similar on the basics. Its comparison says all three offer 5G, 50MP rear cameras and Android 16, though the Vivo model is described more specifically as running OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
Where the specs start to diverge
On displays, Digit says the Lava Shark 2 Pro and Vivo T5 Lite each have 120Hz screens, while the Mivi One 5G uses a 90Hz panel. The cited screen sizes are close: 6.75 inches for the Lava and Mivi phones, and 6.74 inches for the Vivo T5 Lite.
Under the hood, Digit says the Lava Shark 2 Pro uses a Unisoc T8200 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with microSD expansion up to 1TB. The Mivi One 5G is listed with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For Vivo’s model, Digit lists a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
Battery and pricing
Battery capacity is one of the clearer separating points in Digit’s roundup. It says the Lava Shark 2 Pro has a 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging, while the Mivi One 5G also has a 6,000mAh battery and 18W charging. The Vivo T5 Lite, by contrast, is listed with a 6,500mAh battery and 44W wired charging, making it the biggest battery and fastest charging option of the three in Digit’s comparison.
For pricing in India, Digit says the Mivi One 5G launched at Rs 14,999 and the Vivo T5 Lite at Rs 19,999. Its piece positions the newly launched Lava Shark 2 Pro in the same budget-focused category, though the comparison excerpt cited by Digit does not include a specific launch price for Lava in the sections available here.
In short, Digit’s comparison presents the three phones as sharing the expected budget-5G checklist, with the main tradeoffs centering on refresh rate, chipset choice, storage options and battery charging speed.
