OpenAI launches Dots agents and GPT-6.1 Sol at DevDay 2026

OpenAI says Dots can take on ongoing work, while ChatGPT Space gives teams a shared place to work with them.

At DevDay 2026, OpenAI announced Dots, always-on agents designed for ongoing work, and GPT-6.1 Sol, which it says offers near-Astra intelligence at one-fifth of Astra’s standard input and output token prices. Dots are available on Pro and Business Premium in eligible markets, with an admin-enabled beta for Enterprise, Edu and Healthcare. The more than 20 announcements also included ChatGPT Space, Codex cloud tools and plugin extensions.

Within ChatGPT & Codex, we were under heavy load, but have brough more capacity online and the speed should get much better in the coming hours, reaching almost twice the speed compared to what we served yesterday.9d
