Watcher.Guru reported that Elon Musk planned to rename SpaceXAI as SpaceXSI. The post paired that claim with a Musk quote: “SpaceX is a super intelligence company.”
Martín Casado also reposted Musk's “super intelligence company” line. Casado's repost supports the phrase, but neither it nor Watcher.Guru's post contains a formal announcement confirming the SpaceXSI name.
A second claimed rebrand
Another account called it the second rebrand in three months, claiming xAI became SpaceXAI in July after merging into SpaceX. The same account linked the purported SpaceXSI switch to Donald Trump's reported push to use “Super Intelligence” instead of “AI” and said Musk had corrected himself from “AI” to “SI.” Those details were presented as claims in the post.
A separate post interpreted the episode as part of a broader shift toward “Super Intelligence” branding, while also saying SpaceXAI would become SpaceXSI.
The reported name attracted jokes and criticism. Beff suggested “Interplanetary Intellect” instead, while M.G. Siegler called the name “generic gibberish.”
For now, the posts establish Musk's “super intelligence company” phrase and several accounts' claim that a rename is coming, not a confirmed corporate name change.
