Persona 5 Royal is set to enter Fortnite on September 25. Atlus announced the date one day earlier with a short “show us your true form” teaser, turning a previously announced seasonal collaboration into a dated release.
The crossover was not a complete surprise. In its August overview of Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, Epic Games named Persona 5 Royal among the games and entertainment properties scheduled to receive new Shop items and Outfits throughout the season. The roadmap presented those releases as a season-long rollout rather than a single launch-day drop. Its list also included Kingdom Hearts, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon.
Epic's roadmap places Persona 5 Royal in the Shop rollout, not the Battle Pass. The same announcement separately identified Sonic the Hedgehog as the Battle Pass headliner, with Tails joining as a Sidekick. That distinction matters because it is the clearest first-party indication so far of how the Persona collaboration will be distributed.
What players will actually be able to buy remains unspecified. Atlus's post does not name any characters, cosmetics or bundles, and Epic's season announcement does not attach Persona-specific items to its broader list. Neither source gives a V-Bucks price, an exact September 25 release time or an availability window.
The inspected announcements also do not describe quests, weapons or other gameplay mechanics tied to Persona 5 Royal. For now, the confirmed update is narrower: Atlus has dated the collaboration for September 25, while Epic's earlier roadmap establishes it as part of the season's Shop lineup.
