The update includes "various lighting adjustments", including fixes for some interiors that appeared too dark, according to the change list quoted by Eurogamer. It also fixes an issue where DLSS was unavailable in the Xbox Play Anywhere version on PC.

Eurogamer reported that debate over the remaster's lighting changes had been ongoing since launch earlier that week, including whether the game looked overly brightened and washed out.

CD Projekt Red also said it was preparing a separate PC hotfix for a save-game issue and continuing to investigate issues reported through its Technical Support portal, as Eurogamer reported.
